Our Story
Dakota Country Kennels started in the year 2000 the way most great things do — with a deep love for dogs and a belief that every puppy deserves the best possible start in life. What began as a passion for our own pets has grown into a dedicated family kennel where every puppy is raised right alongside us and socialized in our home.
We specialize in small breeds breeds: Maltese, Morkie, Yorkie, Shih Tzu, Shorkie, and Malshi. Each one is chosen for their gentle temperament, low-shedding coats, and the incredible joy they bring to families of all kinds.
Located in Jefferson, South Dakota, we're proud to be a small, home-based kennel giving our puppies the full attention they need.
